Tyler ISD Athletics Mission Statement
Consistent with the mission of Tyler ISD, the Athletic Department will provide student-athletes with exceptional athletic participation opportunities while instilling the core values of commitment, trust, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
Tyler ISD Athletic Program Objectives
1. Involve as many students as possible in a positive athletic environment.
2. Instill in all students an exemplary work ethic and the qualities of accountability, trust, citizenship, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
3. Play everyone on all sub-varsity and middle school levels if eligible, in good standing and if no game restrictions are in place.
4. Develop and maintain a complete and comprehensive off-season program.
5. Have all programs represented with class, character, and integrity.
6. Establish programs that all participants enjoy a positive learning experience.
7. Demonstrate that our teams are well coaches, highly disciplined, and well organized.
8. Ensure that the Tyler ISD Athletic Department objectives support the mission of Tyler ISD.
